Zoot Enterprises Among First to Require Employee Compliance Certification Through CreditQA

July 10, 2006

BOZEMAN, Mont – Atlanta-based CreditQA Inc., a company dedicated solely to improving the speed and quality of implementing credit-based decisioning solutions, confirmed Zoot Enterprises successfully completed a company-wide compliance certification program. Zoot, a leading provider of advanced instant credit decisioning and loan origination solutions, is one of the first companies nationwide to require all employees to pass certification testing on consumer protection laws as part of their employment. The training and testing program developed and taught by CreditQA, covers all significant federal and state legislation related to Zoot's core business.

Larry Kahn, president of CreditQA, said, "Most financial services companies don't require this high level of training for their software designers, and Zoot requires all employees to pass - from its administrative assistants to its CEO. The employees who do not successfully complete the course initially are required to attend follow-up training and pass a supplemental exam to fulfill the certification requirements. I'm impressed with the results and the dedication of Zoot's employees to understand the laws that protect consumer credit information taught through this program."

"We set the bar very high for the entire Zoot team," said Chris Nelson, CEO of Zoot Enterprises. "It is important for all employees to understand the significance of compliance laws and the huge responsibility we have to treat consumer credit information as both sensitive and private. We are committed to our clients and our business, and this type of program gives us confidence that we are satisfying our moral and legal obligations."

The program covers areas pertinent to Zoot from the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions (FACT) Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), as well as other significant state legislation. The training is offered at Zoot Enterprises' headquarters in Bozeman, Mont., on a monthly basis and includes a pre-exam, comprehensive tailored training sessions and a certification exam. All new employees are required to attend the training within the first 30 days of employment.

"It is important to empower our staff to recognize potential problems," said Dennis Dixon, president of Zoot Enterprises. "The course was tailored to address issues our staff might see when developing customized credit decisioning software. I am confident in our ability to keep consumer data secure and private."
